Ross Mortgage 2021 Year in Review

December 22, 2021

We’re quickly closing in on the end of another fantastic year. The Ross Mortgage team would like to take this moment to highlight some of the achievements we accomplished this past year and our top blog posts from 2021.

Expanding Lending Options with New Loan Products

Depending on where you are in the homebuying process, the right lending solutions can make a huge difference. We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of products for homebuyers and ensure we can address the most unique situations. 2021 proved to be a great year for expansion in the realm of loans available to clients. Some products we introduced this year include:

Guaranteed Pre-Approval

A Guaranteed Pre-Approval turns run-of-the-mill home bids into cash offers, enabling sellers to accept with confidence knowing it’s as strong as, or superior to, any other offer they receive. To sweeten the pot, if the mortgage can’t close for whatever reason, Ross Mortgage pays the home seller $1,000—no strings attached—to ensure they can expect a timely, guaranteed closing.

Down Payment Assistance

Geared toward homebuyers who may need help coming up with down payment or closing costs, the Ross Mortgage Down Payment Assistance Program (DPA) turns our customers into homebuyers. With Ross Mortgage DPA, homebuyers have the opportunity to receive 3.5% of their dream home’s purchase price or appraised value (whichever is less). The amount they receive can be used for the down payment or closing costs.

Expanding to New Communities

Everyone deserves a great partner in the mortgage lending and homebuying process. To make that a reality, we’re constantly looking for the markets and individuals to make healthy, sustainable growth possible. We’re excited to share that we opened two new branches this year in Glasgow, Kentucky, and Culpeper, Virginia.

Read more about our Glasgow branch, managed by Matthew Stevens, in this introductory post. And you can learn more about Scott Morris, who manages our Culpeper branch, and his team by reading their introductory post.
