Ross Mortgage Corporation Opens New Office in Virginia
As Ross Mortgage continues to expand its presence across the nation, we are thrilled to announce the opening of a new office in the state of Virginia. The new branch is located at 1100 Sunset Avenue, in the town of Culpeper.
Our team at Ross Mortgage is made up of outstanding professionals who share our company values. We’re absolutely thrilled to add local mortgage lender Scott Morris as the branch manager to our new Virginia office.
To help you get to know him better, we sat down with Scott and asked him a few questions about his new role at Ross Mortgage. Check out what he had to say below!
What is your role as a first to market Ross Mortgage branch manager?
As a branch manager, I lead my team in representing Ross Mortgage in our local community. As a team unit, my loan officers and I will grow the Ross brand and serve as relatable and reliable resources for our business partners. The mortgage industry is ever-changing, and I intend for our Culpeper branch to be the tip of the spear in innovation, collaboration and education in the Virginia mortgage market.
What are you most looking forward to accomplishing in your new role?
I am excited to be leading the expansion of the Ross Mortgage Corporation brand in Virginia. My team and I hope to open doors within the opportunity and introduce borrowers and realtors to the solution-based partner we know Ross Mortgage to be.
What are your passions within the industry?
As a veteran serving as an active duty Marine and with the National Guard, I understand the VA and how important it is to help those who have served. In the four years I have worked in the industry, assisting veterans is the most rewarding part of the job. The second most rewarding part of this business is helping first time homebuyers feel educated about the process.
What is your go-to fun fact about yourself?
Some people are dog people or cat people, but I’m a chicken person! I’ve raised chickens for a number of years now, and it’s a ton of fun.
