Ross Mortgage Rocks the Packs in First H.O.P.E. Initiative
At Ross Mortgage, community involvement and charitable causes are a priority. While some of our employees volunteer to help the community in their spare time, lending our support to local businesses, schools and organizations is important to us as a company.
While keeping community involvement top of mind, we created Ross Mortgage H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Everywhere), a company-wide community outreach committee. Employees from various Ross Mortgage branches are involved in helping us give back to our local communities.
Earlier this week, we kicked off our first Ross Mortgage H.O.P.E. initiative: Ross Rocks the Packs. With the help of Ross Mortgage employees, industry partners, friends and family, we were able to donate 450 backpacks full of school supplies to the Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences (DAAS).
Ross Mortgage H.O.P.E. committee members delivered the stuffed backpacks to DAAS on August 9, and school officials distributed 50 backpacks per grade—kindergarten through eighth grade—to various students on August 10.
We’d like to extend a very special thanks to everyone who donated their time, money and efforts to Ross Rocks the Packs. Your kindness, generosity and support does not go unnoticed. We also thank our office supply distributor, Detroit Pencil Company, for turning around the enormous bulk order of supplies so quickly!
Ross Rocks the Packs is the first of many Ross Mortgage H.O.P.E. initiatives. We look forward to updating you on our future partnerships with other charitable organizations in our community.
We love hearing about what others are doing to help their communities! What charitable causes and organizations do you support?
